When you get bids or quotes in for your redesign, it can be tempting to go with the lowest bid. There needs to be adequate traffic flow in your restaurant, a reasonable waiting area, and you need to take accessibility into account so that you keep to your local accessibility acts and guidelines.
Lighting a restaurant can be tricky. Depending on the type of restaurant you have, the ambience you want, and your windows, you will have different lighting needs than other restaurateurs. Talk to a contractor about their experience with lighting and see if they do it themselves or have an electrician they work closely with who can handle the task.
